A couple weeks ago I was invited to stay at Universal Orlando’s Resort, Loews Royal Pacific Resort. A tropical paradise not far from home? YES PLEASE! So I grabbed one of my best friends and we headed out for a getaway to our little oasis.
ROOM VIEWS
We were greeted with this beautiful view overlooking the lagoon-style swimming pool. Along with these tasty hors d’oeuvres!
POOL SIDE
We spent most of the time lounging by the pool which offers:
- Royal Bali Sea interactive water play area
- Two hot tubs
- Private cabanas available for rent
PS you can order food poolside so we got some mango smoothies!
BREAKFAST
The next morning, we had breakfast by the orchid court located in the center of the resort. I could sit here all morning..
LUNCH
I chose the fish tacos from Bula Bar & Grille for lunch. Service took a bit longer than I expected but the tacos drizzled in honey-lime vinaigrette were worth the wait.
DINNER
That evening we watched the sunset at the beach and then took the ferry to Universal CityWalk for dinner! We walked around for a bit and ended up at Hard Rock Cafe.
PERKS
The biggest perk of staying here was the location. Being right by the theme parks and having complimentary shuttle buses connect the resort to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Universal City Walk and Volcano Bay was so convenient.

Something that really stood out to me was the resorts 24/7 chat service. You can text the resort for anything, anytime. It was nice being able to message them for a wake up call in the morning! Loved this personalized touch.
Whether you’re a walker or runner, you can enjoy a scenic trip through the lush tropical landscaping surrounding the resort. I preferred going early in the mornings.
