Venice, California

Okay, shout out to my friend ERICA. I called her one day saying how much I’ve been wanting to go to Joshua Tree, California. That same night, we booked our flights to Cali. Gosh, I love spontaneous friends like her.

On this trip we went to Joshua Tree, Venice and Los Angeles. This has been one of my favorite adventures yet. First off,  let me talk about the weather!! Almost anywhere else feels lovely when you’re used to Florida’s humidity. But California in October is a must. Book your flights and go.

First stop was Venice, California

We slept at the cutest Airbnb! LOOK at all the plants 🙂

Everywhere we wanted to go was walking distance from our Airbnb.

For breakfast, we went to Great White. I love sharks. I even had a 22nd shark birthday party a few years back (insert photo here). You could say I’m a little obsessed. .

So, of course, when I found out there was a café called Great White, I had to visit. It did not disappoint and it’s now my favorite café ever.

PS the avocado toast was so yummy.

We also met some amazing people at Great White, which I’ll get to later.. 🙂 After breakfast, we headed to the Venice Boardwalk and the beach.

I absolutely love checking out the local markets when I travel to new places. You never know what neat gems you may discover. I found this cute iridescent necklace along with some new silver rings there. Scoreee!

Every little corner in Venice was so special. From all the plants to the unique homes!

  2. I’m a California girl so I’m lovin’ hard on this post about Venice! And staying at an Air B&B was a fabulous choice. Keep having fun on all your adventures!
